Market/Distribute Foam Lite

We are actively seeking Production and Product Manufacturing Licensees, to insure that Distributors have adequate Foam Lite Products available to meet their needs.

The use of lightweight concrete, EPS concrete and Foam Lite Products is growing worldwide. Foam Lite is constantly looking for individuals or organizations to be the Marketing Distributor and partner with Foam Lite in the development of building products and consumer products using Foam Lite Concretes.

There are a number of specific development opportunities shown on this page which are based upon the previous use of eps concrete. After exploring our whole web site, you may have an additional potential use.

If you or your organization has an interest in being the Marketing Distributor of one of these products (or another), and partnering with Foam Lite in its development, contact our Product Development Department.

Marketing Distributors Sought For:

Steel Building Infill Walls:

Metal Buildings (Butler, Bunger, etc) are structurally sound before the adding of the skin, which is usually galvanized vertical panels, fastened to wall purloins. If the building needs to be insulated, then the insulation is installed after the skin is put on, and requires both attachment and retention products.

Foam Lite Concrete could be installed instead of the metal skin and insulation, using purloins for horizontal and re-bar for vertical alignment. Foam Lite Concrete could be cast in panels or blocks to align with the structural elements, or, based on initial investigation, pumped into form work, which would encapsulated the structural elements. The exterior of the structure could have a coat of synthetic stucco applied, or be detailed and then stucco.

Note: Foam Lite does not require wire, brown coat, etc. for stucco. Direct application of a synthetic finished stucco coat can be made to Foam Lite Concrete. The interior of the walls could be mechanically painted, finished in sprayed gypsum plaster, etc.

The walls would have a life expectancy well beyond that of metal, afford excellent insulation, be sound absorbent, and considerably more attractive than metal.

Foam Lite is actively seeking a development partner to be the Marketing Proprietary Distributor of this application.

No more Ugly Block Wall Fences:

Why Developers continued to install ugly concrete block wall fences is beyond our comprehension? Probably because no one has bothered to consider any alternative or the current cost of alternatives is considered prohibitive. But isn’t the aesthetics of a pleasing visual experience worth something in both value and environmental appearance?

Wouldn’t lightweight walls with Bas reliefs or interesting patterns be a change from “blah” concrete block?

This would be a “High End” product for markets where the money is available for unique statement type work.

Foam Lite is actively seeking a development partner to be the Marketing Proprietary Distributor of this application.

Underground Utility Pipe Encasement:

Foam Lite Concrete is ideal for encasement of pipe where access by concrete mixer trucks maybe or is restricted and the need for encasement is to prevent sagging in unstable soils. Using Foam Lite with geo-webbing should form a stable shear prevention barrier around the pipe. Further the lightness of the encasement will essentially “float” in the soil, rather than compacting soil as would be the case with normal concrete.

Where extreme freeze-thaw cycles prevail, the eps aggregate, since it does not contract or expand, and has inherent insulating properties, could enhance the flow capabilities within the pipe. The probability is that this would allow the pipe to be buried above the depth of the freeze line, reducing installation costs accordingly.

Are you the Underground Contractor with the capabilities for exploring this use?

Theme Construction:

We are currently working with one of our Contractors on Mayan structures. They expect to have a realistic Warrior’s Column entranceway available before the end of the year. Each column will be over 15′ high, structurally sound, yet they will weigh only about 600 – 700 lbs. The master mold pieces, which have been completed, look stunning.

We will post photos once the Contractor makes them available to us.

Foam Lite Concrete is the ideal product for this type of work, since it is so forgiving. Any major mistake or error can be easily corrected by simply removing the damaged area with a saw or other hand tools, adding new Foam Light Concrete to the area in question, and once it has set up (one day!), tool it to the detail originally wanted.

Foam Lite Concrete does not expand or contract. Why? Because the aggregate is eps, which cannot transfer, absorb, or radiate heat. Therefore, Foam Lite Concrete has no freeze, thaw cycle, which would impinge upon the finished product.

Foam Light Concrete, when mixed properly and ready for hand casting, has no slump. None! The best applicators using the product today love that attribute, since they can pile and tool the material almost immediately. Add some accelerant and you can cook off the material in no time.

Foam Lite Concrete will not shatter. Once cured, you can drive a screw driver into the mass and it will not fracture or shatter. Try that with some of the other lightweight concretes.

If your company is in the “theme building business”, Foam Lite Concrete will save you countless hours by not having to form free standing structures with re-bar, wire and standard concrete.

Use it as your substrate, detail it as you determine necessary, put your finishes on and color as necessary. Done!

P.S., If you or your firm now service the theme builders, you might want to consider carrying our product line.

The “Killer Application”:

Do you have it? Is this the product to make it happen?
